There is a lapse of appropriations and there will be limited updates

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status. The documents below are intended to help the War Department workforce during the government shutdown.

To further transparency and patient engagement, the Military Health System provides prescribed aggregate statistical information concerning patient safety, quality of care, patient satisfaction, and health outcomes for health care provided under the TRICARE program at military treatment facilities. Additionally, information about the quality of care at most civilian-sector facilities in the TRICARE network may be available through Hospital Compare, hosted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
