CSM Kenneth Law

Command Sergeant Major Kenneth F. Law is a native of McIntosh, Alabama (Roll Tide). He entered the military in November 1992 as a Finance Specialist and attended Basic Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

His assignments include the 8th Finance Battalion, Baumholder, Germany; 101st Finance Battalion Fort Campbell, Kentucky; 39th Finance Battalion, Hanau, Germany; 369th Adjutant General Battalion, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; 266th Finance Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany; and Bravo Detachment, 208th Financial Management Company, Wiesbaden, Germany. He next served with the 24th Financial Management Support Unit, Fort Stewart, Georgia; 1st Sustainment Brigade, Fort Riley, Kansas; and the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas.

CSM Law’s duty positions include Finance Specialist, Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, In & Out-Processing, Military Pay and Internal Control NCOIC, Drill Sergeant, Detachment Sergeant, First Sergeant and Senior Financial Management Advisor.

His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), National Defense Service Medal with one bronze star device, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with one bronze star device, Iraq Campaign Medal with one bronze star device, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 4, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with Numeral 5, and NATO Medal. He also holds the Air Assault Badge and Drill Sergeant Badge.

CSM Law has completed all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System. He is a graduate of Class 64 of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
