1SG VICKI M. HARRIS
First Sergeant Harris was born in Hampton, Virginia. She enlisted into the US Army on 10 November 1994, and completed Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Jackson, SC as an Administrative Specialist (42A).
Upon completion of AIT, 1SG Harris was assigned as the Brigade CSM Administrative Assistant, 104th Area Support Group, Hanau, GE; Command Group, Administrative Supervisor, Company A, US Army Training Support Center, Fort Jackson, SC; Administrative NCO, Army Medical Detachment, Fort Eustis, VA; and the Commanding General Executive Assistant/Travel NCO, US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), Fort McPherson, GA. In November 2004, 1SG Harris mandatory reclassified as an Information Systems Operator Analyst (25B) and was assigned as the Switch Systems Chief/Tactical Control Facility NCO, 385th Signal Company, Camp Doha, Kuwait; Platoon Sergeant/ Information Assurance System Team Chief/ COMSEC Manager, Third Army/US Army Central (ARCENT)/Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC), Fort McPherson, GA/Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; COMSEC Manager, 58th Signal Battalion, Fort Buckner, and the First Sergeant for 349th Signal Company, Torii Station.
1SG Harris military and civilian education include: Warrior Leader Course, Executive Administrative Course, Advance Leader Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Senior Leader Course, and Master Resilience Training Course. She obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance from Norfolk State University, Norfolk, VA (1994).
