Captain Sashaeynolds is a native of the Bronx, NewYork. She began her military career in 1994, enlisting as a Power Generation Equipment Repairer (MOS 52D). Her first duty station was Bravo Company, 626 Forward Support Battalion, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She later reclassified to a Unit Supply Specialist (MOS 92Y). At the rank of SFC, she was selected to attend the Army Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, Ordnance Corps in 2004.

CPT Reynolds earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina. Her military education includes the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course (CLC3), the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, the Military Transition Team Basic and Advanced Courses, the Pathfinder Course, the Airborne Course, the Air Assault Course, and the Air Movement Operations Course.

After commissioning, Captain Reynolds’ first assignment was with Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment, at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, where she served as the Company Executive Officer. Upon completion of her tour at Fort Jackson, CPT Reynolds was then assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas and deployed to Iraq as a member of a Military Transition Team (MiTT) that was embedded with the 14th Motor Transportation Regiment (MTR), Iraqi Army. CPT Reynolds served as the logistics advisor to the Regimental S-4 and his staff at Camp Meerah, Iraq. In addition, she also served as the S-4 and unit supply for the Transition Team. After attending the Captains Career Course at Fort Lee, Virginia in 2010, CPT Reynolds was assigned to the 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Sagami General Depot, Japan where she served as the Battalion S-4 Officer.

Captain Reynolds’ awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Good Conduct Medal with two knots, the National Defense Service Medal with a Bronze Star, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, The NCO Professional Development Ribbon with numeral 2, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (2), the Army Superior Unit Award, the Pathfinder Badge, Airborne Badge and Air Assault Badge.
