Commander’s Philosophy:

1. Treat everyone with dignity and respect. This is the obligation entrusted to all leaders regarding Soldiers and their families.
2. Continually ask if what you're doing is ethical, moral, legal and right.
3. Soldiers DESERVE good leadership. Leaders make hard decisions even if they are unpopular.
4. The only standard is the Army standard. We are all Soldiers first and foremost.

Commander’s Vision:

• To create a disciplined and well training combat ready Headquarters and Headquarters Battery able to rapidly deploy, engage in combat fully supporting the Army’s future operational needs.
• Develop a unit where leadership, discipline, physical training, teamwork, and operational training and maintenance are the STANDARD bearers for the battalion.
• Foster a work environment where Soldiers and their families are the priority. Never leave family care to someone else.
