Welcome to Echo Company’s “Crusaders, Maintainers from the Front”.

We provide maintenance support to the 1-1 ADA Battalion located in Okinawa, Japan. Our mission is to support and facilitate all levels of maintenance to include vehicle repair, system services, and supply support for all classes of supply. As a maintenance company, we incorporate all aspects of logistics from ordnance to transportation to quartermaster. The core structure and basic principles of these combined allow us to provide the best for our combat arms battalion at the front lines. Without us, the mission to defend our nation and our nation’s allies would not be possible.

About Us

Echo Company is the only integrated maintenance company attached to the 1-1 ADA Battalion. Echo Company was initially attached to the Battalion as a separate company known as the 518th Maintenance Company. It was redesignated as Echo Company during the re-stationing from Ft. Bliss, TX to Okinawa, Japan which identified its place as part of the battalion. The company has transformed itself from a single level maintenance unit to that of a two-tier unit allowing us to give better maintenance support to our host battalion. With the re-stationing, Echo has established a new standard operating procedure that has enabled the company to work with all branches of military. Echo Company truly embraces the concept, “Maintainers from the front”.
