Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4

Advises the CG and staff, and develops and supervises policy on all command logistics matters, to include supply, maintenance, acquisitions, transportation, OPLANs, CONPLANs, readiness, food services, use of installations, energy conservation, and logistics automation systems. Coordinates the logistics aspects of the Bilateral Engagement Program with the JGSDF. Serves as the director of the logistics portion of the command Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) Program. Represents the command at Joint-Service meetings on all logistics matters. Serves as a member on the Installation Planning Board, Command Review Board, Senior PBAC, Resource Quality Management Board (QMB).

Exercises staff supervision over command supply services, ammunition, petroleum, and maintenance, to include watercraft and aircraft. Coordinates, develops policy for, provides technical advice on, and monitors the General Supply and Ammunition Programs for the command, to include supply and storage management, requirements determination, asset control, property accountability, new equipment fielding, the Army Serialization Program, asset redistribution, disposal, Army Prepositioned Stock 4.

Conducts Theater level unilateral and bilateral logistics planning and organizational requirements for operations, contingencies, and exercises. Coordinates logistics issues, scenarios, and external evaluations for command-sponsored exercises, and participates in CPXs and FTXs, as required.
