Mission & Vision

What We Do

  • Serve as the Army Component of U.S. Forces Japan.
  • Support PACOM war plans and operational requirements.
  • Maintain Bilateral relationship with the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force.
    • Provide a senior leader for immediate interface and coordination with Japanese forces/staff as needed.
    • Execute an active bilateral engagement and exercise program.
